Paid Peer Work
Community organizations are offering different paid work opportunities including participation in Street Degree, community meetings, participation in studies, and more. More information can be found in the paid work section below.
Recovery Meetings
A variety of recovery meetings including SMART recovery, NA, All-Pathways, and Wellbriety are offered in Gibsons, Sechelt and online. Different meetings use different modalities depending on what feels best for you. See the events page to see all of the upcoming meetings.
Mobile Harm Reduction
The mobile harm reduction team offers free, confidential, and friendly harm reduction supplies (safe injection and smoke equipment), pick-up of used equipment, free Naloxone kits and trainings, pregnancy tests, fentanyl test strips, and VCH referrals. Counselling Services
Drop-in counselling services are offered by request on Thursdays from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Sechelt Overdose Prevention Site located at 5656 Warf Avenue. Please contact Rebecca at 604-578-1227 to make an appointment (counselling is not available by text/over the phone).

Arrowhead Clubhouse
Arrowhead offers support, skills and a safe environment for people struggling with mental health on the Sunshine Coast. Arrowhead has many programs running for its members, some of which can be found on our calendar. For more information on how to become a member visit: https://arrowclub.org/membership

Peer Paid Work Programs

Twice monthly trainings with rotating topics held in Sechelt and in Gibsons. Sessions are from 2 pm to 4 pm and and a $25 honorarium is provided for attending. Food and beverages provided. Check the events page for upcoming sessions.
Participants are paid cash in hand at the end of the shift.
